Our Diamonds

The most important people in our organization are our Diamonds. These kids are fighting for better opportunities so they can thrive in our constantly changing world. Here a just a few of our hundreds of Diamonds on the rise.

Jerrone, 10

Jerron is a 5th grader at Sarah M. Roach Elementary. He has participated actively in our after school programs and summer camps for the past four years. A quick, attentive learner with a passion for math, Jerrone brings creativity and positive attitudes to all of our programs. His mother, Ms. Rebecca Caldwell, has been one of our most loyal supporters since we began.

Chenia, 13

Chenia, a long time participant in our mentoring and summer camp, is the middle child of 3 girls. She is one of the biggest helpers for our programs, helping mentor many of our younger students. When she feels strongly about something, she has an excellent ability to communicate it in a calm and persuasive manner. She also loves art, and doing nails and hair for others.

Dyona, 11

Dyona serves as a role model for her 5 younger siblings. She consistently receives awards for academic achievement, especially in her favorite subject, math.  Outside of school, she is a part of the Contour Dolls (Baltimore Modeling and Dance company), where she shows off her talent in dance. She is going into the 6th grade at Green Street Academy and remains a mentee in our program.
